everything is borrowed

my skin; my skin

taken back- old skin

used flesh- spent

spun web- skeletal

cold inside muscles

face- thin powder

diminishing moisture

i borrowed these stars

nothing at my feet but air

and i'm only borrowing this air

i borrowed your face

2 masks- old skin

is the mask less real

than the skin underneath

yet all that is under the skin

is still borrowed
